Howdy ….

Bah …My girlfriend & my son have both left for Neskaupstadur. This is rubbish …..I would like to take a moment and “thank” the amazing school system of Iceland, it really shows that i did nothing wrong when i left school when i was 16 years old……

Hopefully this will only be for this semester, as Maria told me she should be able to get in another school here in Reykjavik og Hafnarfjordur after she has done 1 semester in other school.

As for me, i’m still waiting for parts for my Revo to arrive…wish they were here already!. I guess i have to use my spare time to drink beer and play Forza Motorsport 2…..man, do i have plans or what!

Well …laters, F1 qualifying is on TV!

BAHHHHHHHHHHHHH….

My girlfriend was going to go to school this winter. She was told that she was accepted and was going to learn hairdressing. However, this week, when she was going to get her timetable for the semester she found out that she was not accepted in the right classes.

So….to make a long story short, she will go into the world class school, VA in Neskaupstadur, Iceland. She and my son, Illugi will stay for until december atleast until she knows if she can go to one of the schools on the south part of the country .

Illugi is very happy thought, since he likes Neskaupstadur alot….so i’ll be alone here in Hafnarfjordur…….Guess i’ll be staying alot @ work for the next 4 months or so .

In 2 weeks i’ll go to UK to take a course, and since my family will stay at Neskaupstadur i was wondering if i should go into certification madness….i have to finish my Brocade certification, and if i am lucky i might get some kind of IBM storage certification….now that would be very cool .

Well ….just wanted to rant about the wonderful school systems of Iceland ….

Dang ….

When i was trying to get my revo running today i ruined my pull start …..sadly….

Put in another order at RC Planet …the 2nd this weekend……..Now for 2 pull starts, a exhaust pipe and some other crap …now my total bill is alot over 120$ …..damn RC cars!

Hopefully i get my parts this week so i can fix it and get it running soon….tired of seeing my new Picco just sitting doing nothing!

Well ….Just wanted to cry a bit …….I even thought of starting to rebuild my Savage

Howdy,

Was checking my Revo last night, decided to order 2 new servos, one to replace the broken brake/fuel injection servo & 1 to have when the new one fails …..5 Minutes after i ordered the servo my neighbor came out trying out his GS Storm and told me he had 1 extra servo….yay! ….I fitted it in the Revo last nightand it seems to be a exact match. Will probably finish putting it in the Revo tonight.

Maby i can start rebuilding my Savage in August…it would be pretty fun…i bought bunch of parts for it early this summer, just need to rebuild the old one.

Well …gonna go to work and finish my timereports for this week….later all!

Howdy!

Was checking out some news sites today and ended up reading up on Fluendo. They make gstreamer plugins to play WM10 & MPEG4 formats. They cost few bucks, but hell, they are worth it. Now i do not have to replace totem with totem-xine from 3rd party repos and use the bloody w32codecs pack which seems to hate me…..I could not be happier to spend few euro’s to help me keep my sanity ….and they are extremly easy to install…just copy files to a plugins folder for gstreamer and fire up totem …

Just wanted to give those guys some credit, this codec pack rocks.
