Axial SCX10 Pro

This car was the second kit I built. It is the first straight-axles crawler I have tried out.

Currently it has the following setup:

  • Motor/ESC – Hobbywing Fusion Pro 2300kv
  • Receiver – Flysky FS-R7P
  • Tires/wheels – Proliant Hyrax G8 (4.73″) G8 / AliExpress aluminium wheels with INJORA soft silicone rubber inserts
  • Steering servo – JX Servo High Voltage Aluminum Case Low Profile 40Kg

I have yet to install the overdrive servo (JX Servo High Voltage Mini Servo Waterproof Core Metal Gear 4.5KG) along with a INJORA 25T Aluminum Transmission Shift Unloading Servo Arm, and finish painting the body neon pink (my 7 year old daughter got to pick out the colour!).

Additionally I am not sure if I will keep the stock shocks or replace them – while the car is lightweight the shocks are like 70-75% compressed in the front with this motor setup and a 2200mAh Zeee 50C battery and coming from trail crawlers I’m not sure if this is correct or not. However I have taken it out a couple of times in the garden and it is very capable, it can do lines that I haven’t been able to do with my other cars yet 🙂
